My story

MommaEra coaching has been born from many years & layers of experience. From high school endurance sports, triathlons, and CrossFit, I entered motherhood with a determination to carry my athleticism through my changing life. But what began as pure grit and love of fitness became a journey to empower other women in lifetime athleticism.

My coaching journey officially began after earning my CrossFit Level 1 Coaching certificate & apprenticing under other coaches while training friends and colleagues on my patio during Covid gym closures. I quickly realized my clinical experience greatly informed my focus with 10 years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Critical Care, and love of coaching from physical fitness training & testing while in the US Navy. I turned to earning my AIT [Adaptive Integrative Trainer] certification, and not long after the birth of my first child, my Pregnancy & Postpartum Coach certificate, the leader in strength & conditioning coaching of peripartum women.

3 more children and as many interstate moves later, the principles of adaptive fitness have proven not only true in my own life as I continue to train, excel, and compete with 4 kiddos ages 6 & under at home, but also in the lives of the women I’ve coached and consulted for.

My Focus

While I specialize in women in the season of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood, I welcome clients outside these categories and have coached men, children, and older women in individual and group settings!
